HKUST has three campuses which are Hongo Campus, Sanshiro Pond and Komaba campus. Tokyo is one of the biggest cities in the world, and advanced public transportation systems are widely available to get around these campuses.

Two types of accommodation are available for international researchers and students at the University: residences operated by the University and apartments and flats rented by private businesses.
